BENEFITS OF THE AUTOLOCK

When collapsed the AutoLock is a convenient and comfortable 8.375 inches long. When used in combination with the recommended AutoLock Front Draw Holder, the AutoLock is held conveniently out of the way but is readily accessible and can be quickly front drawn when the need arises. The AutoLock can then be easily extended to its full (21, 22 or 26 inches)length with a flick of the wrist. Or, if space is limited, the AutoLock can be manually extended in a low profile manner using both hands.

Ball Bearing Locking
Ball Bearing locking action provides the revolutionary mechanism for securing the two telescoping shafts in place. Once the shafts are locked they will stay locked open until the release mechanism is activated by you.

Easy Closing Procedure
Both extended shafts unlock and the entire baton collapses with a push of a single button. This recessed button, located in the end cap, allows you to slide the shafts back into the handle using the palm of your hand. Thus eliminating any awkward closing procedures and property damage that may result from closing friction lock batons by banging them on the floor.

Passively Drawn
Shafts lock dependably in place when the baton is passively drawn open to the extended position. This gives officers the ability to be ready for action without having to escalate the situation unnecessarily.

Hard Rubber Tip for Safety
Large 0.625 inch diameter reinforced textured hard rubber tip cannot be dented or acquire sharp edges. Thus it decreases the instances where a subject may be injured since the tip is rubber rather than steel.

Getting Attention
Getting a subject's attention will be easy when he hears that ratchet sound of the AutoLock when you flick it open. This sound is the result of the numerous ball bearings at each joint simultaneously locking into place.

Training Compatibility
The AutoLock or any Monadnock Expandable Straight Baton can be used with virtually all standard baton techniques and tactics or training programs. There are however a number of Monadnock Expandable Baton (MEB) Certification Programs available.

Strength
The AutoLock's strength comes from its hardened aircraft 4130 seamless alloy steel tubing. As a result the baton has a 48 - 54 Rockwell C Scale Hardness and has a Tensile Strength up to 290,000 pounds per square inch. Toughness is the AutoLock's bottom line.
